Welcome to the ANU Law Students’ Society (LSS)!
The ANU LSS is the largest, oldest and most active student society at the ANU. The LSS aims to enrich the experience of all ANU Law students by offering a diverse range of services — academic, social and professional — to support the endeavours of our talented student body. Our financial membership comprises roughly 700 ANU Bachelor of Laws and Juris Doctor students, who are supported by the offerings presented by our committee of 36 dedicated students.
As President of the ANU LSS, it is my role to represent our members over the coming year, and to ensure that the Society continues to provide high-quality, engaging and diverse opportunities to meet the needs and demands of the ANU Law student body.
I warmly invite you to become a member of the ANU LSS, and to get involved at some of the many and varied initiatives that we run throughout the year. You can attend careers events, receive pre-exam tutoring, participate in legal competitions, hear from inspiring legal professionals, and much more. No matter what you are looking for, I am confident we have something to offer that will enrich your time at ANU Law.
2021 will be a big year for the LSS. The ANU College of Law 60th Anniversary celebrations were put on hold in 2020, and will no doubt be bigger and better than ever when we get around to them this year. We are also looking forward to reintroducing as many events as possible to ANU campus, and helping all students to reconnect to their in-person university life.
We are incredibly grateful for the support of our sponsors, partners and members. Without them, we would not be able to operate such a large and well-accessed society.
To stay up to date with all of the LSS’ initiatives and offerings throughout the year, I invite you to like our Facebook page.
Finally, if you have any questions or concerns, or would like to know more about what the LSS does, please do not hesitate to contact me at lss@anu.edu.au.
With my very best wishes,
Emma Campbell
