Australian Law Students' Association

The Australian Law Students’ Association is the peak representative body for law students in Australia. ALSA's services to law students can be divided into three broad categories:

1. Those as a national representative for law students' interests;

2. Those delivered directly to law students (publications, ALSA Conference, etc); and

3. Those as a knowledge sharing forum for law student societies (LSSs) (Council Meetings, Law Society Manual, etc).

Each year, the ANU LSS sends ANU representatives to the April Council, July Conference and September Council. The ANU LSS also subsidizes the registration costs of many winners of the ANU internal competitions to attend the July Conference.

Patrick Mayoh, ANU LSS President and James Dawson, ANU LSS Education Vice-President, will be attending the upcoming April Council meeting in Adelaide from 17 April – 19 April.

Students from the ANU are also given the opportunity to attend ALSA councils and conference as a general delegate. Please contact This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it if you are interested.
